Strict Mistress

Strict Mistress is a computer simulated persona who, if you chose, can grant you permission based on a complicated algorithm. The program offers many levels of "strictness" depending on the degree of denial you wish, anything from a few days up to a year between releases is available. If you have a KeySafe, Strict Mistress can control when the safe unlocks, making Her permissions very real.

I warn you that she is very strict, and once she has made up my mind, no additional amount of begging is going to change it.  In fact if you ask too often, she could become annoyed with you.  I am sure you do not want that to happen, because if it does, the chances of a release for you will most definitely go down.  Strict Mistress has the following categories of experience:

• Beginner
  • You can expect permission at least every 3 days, sometimes sooner.
  • You can ask for permission every 4 hours, sometimes more often, but then you are taking your chances.
• Novice
  • You will certainly be given permission at least once a week.
  • Do not ask more often than once every 12 hours, or you are taking a chance of annoying her.
• Experienced
  • Your maximum delay before permission will be 30 days, but usually you will not have to wait quite that long.
  • I think you can figure out on your own how often to ask Strict Mistress for permission.
• Extended
  • You could be locked up for as long as 90 days, but that would only happen if you are very impatient or very unlucky.
  • She will always entertain your requests for permission after 5 days, if you ask more often than that, you are taking a chance.
• Advanced
  • You will never have to wait more than a full year, sometimes you may get out after only a month, but then that will be up to her, won't it.
• Duration
  • You pick your own lockup time, in hours or days. If you chose this category, there will be no hope for an early release.
